India inks midlife upgrade deal for its Ka-28 Russian naval helicopters

New Delhi: India today inked a Rs. 2,000-crore ($300-million) deal with a Russian defence industry for midlife upgrades of its navy’s Kamov Ka-28 helicopters that would increase the service life and potency of the anti-submarine warfare platform.
